Local parking costs € 6.50 per hour from Monday to Saturday (09:00-23:00). You pay € 13.02 for a nighttime ticket (19:00-23:00) and € 38.01 for a daytime ticket (09:00-23:00).
For € 4.38 per 60 minutes, you can also park your car in the Kruisstraat car park (Kruisstraat 2), which is 350 metres from Poortstraat. The maximum daily rate is € 43.79. Car park De Grifthoek (Wittevrouwensingel 96) can be found at 750 metres. They charge € 2.67 per hour, € 21.37 for a daytime ticket and € 6.69 for a nighttime ticket. P+R De Uithof can be found to the east of Utrecht. For only € 7.00, you can park your car here and then take bus 28 to the Wittevrouwen bus stop, a 15-minute ride (only parking costs € 7.00 per day). This is subject to a maximum of five persons. There are eight buses per hour on working days and Saturdays. There are six buses per hour on Sundays and four buses per hour in the evenings. The combination ticket is valid only on the day of arrival so if you return to your car after the first day, you have to use a normal transport ticket.
